SDS and NaOH buffer configuration scheme

(1) 10% (W/V) SDS
Component concentration: 10% (W/V) SDS
Preparation amount: 100ml
Preparation method:
1. Weigh 10g of high-purity SDS into a 100-200ml beaker, add about 80ml of deionized water, and dissolve it at 68°C
2. Add concentrated hydrochloric acid dropwise to adjust the pH to 7.2
3. Dilute the solution to 100ml and store at room temperature.

(2) 2N NaOH
Component concentration: 2 N NaOH
Preparation amount: 100 ml
Preparation method:
1. Measure 80 ml of deionized water and place it in a 100-200 ml plastic beaker (a large amount of heat is released during the dissolution of NaOH, which may cause the glass beaker to burst).
2. Weigh 8 g of NaOH carefully and gradually add to the beaker, stirring while adding.
3. After the NaOH is completely dissolved, dilute the solution volume to 100 ml with deionized water.
4. After transferring the solution to a plastic container, store at room temperature.
