Operation steps for graduated centrifuge tubes
1. Because the graduated centrifuge tube is a measuring device, it must be cleaned and dried before use.
2. When reading, be sure to observe the meniscus correctly, otherwise certain errors will be introduced.
3. When using, the number of centrifuge tubes should be determined according to the type of centrifuge. If a centrifuge with double cannula is used for a single test, the same volume of liquid must be placed in the other centrifuge tube to maintain balance.
4. The centrifuge tube should be matched with the centrifuge casing. The tube should not be too long, otherwise it is easy to break when turning. But it is not easy to be too short, too short tubes are unstable when rotating in the air, and are prone to breakage. If the sleeve is too thick, it will not enter, and if it is too thin, it will be unstable when rotating. The round mouth should be larger than the inner diameter of the sleeve.
5. After the centrifuge tube is sleeved into the casing of the centrifuge for stratified separation, it should be stopped naturally when it stops rotating, and it must not be forced to stop by external force.
