1. Leak test method for volumetric flask?
Answer: Before use, you should check whether the stopper of the volumetric flask is tight. For this, you can fill the bottle with tap water to near the marking line, cover the stopper, hold the stopper by hand, invert the volumetric flask, and observe whether there is water at the mouth of the flask. If it does not leak, put the bottle upright, turn the cork about 180° and try it upside down again. In order to prevent the cork from being lost and messing up, usually use a plastic string to tie it to the bottleneck.

2. How to transfer the solution to the volumetric flask?
Answer: During the transfer process, insert a glass rod into the volumetric flask. The mouth of the beaker is close to the glass rod so that the solution flows slowly along the glass rod. The lower end of the glass rod should be close to the inner wall of the bottleneck, but not too close to the bottle mouth to avoid The solution overflowed. After the solution has flowed, lift the beaker slightly upwards along the glass rod while standing upright so that a drop of solution attached to the beaker’s mouth flows back into the beaker.
